Privacy Policy

What we collect when you use rankposse.com or work with us, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Written in plain English.

Who we are

This policy covers rankposse.com and the SEO and GEO (AI visibility) services offered by TWISTED JESTER INC, doing business as Rank Posse ("Rank Posse", "we", "us"). We serve small businesses in the United States. Questions go to [email protected].

What we collect

  • Audit requests and messages. When you request an audit or email us, we collect what you send: typically your name, business name, website, type of business, the city or area you serve, your email address, and anything else you include.
  • Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. You enter card or PayPal details on their secure forms, not ours. We never see or store your full card number or security code. The processor tells us whether the payment worked and shares details such as your name, email, billing country or postal code, the amount, and the payment method type (for example, card brand and last four digits).
  • Analytics and technical data. Cloudflare hosts this site and provides Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records things like pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, approximate country, and page speed. As part of delivering and protecting the site, Cloudflare also processes IP addresses and request logs.
  • Public information about your business. To prepare an audit we review public sources, such as your website, Google Business Profile, directory listings, reviews and answers from AI assistants. This is mostly business information, not personal data.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not add you to a marketing list without your permission.

  • To prepare and deliver your audit and any monthly upkeep you sign up for.
  • To reply to your questions and send messages about your order or service.
  • To process payments and refunds and to prevent fraud.
  • To keep business, tax and accounting records.
  • To understand how the site is used and keep it fast and secure.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Stripe processes card and other payments (Stripe Privacy Policy).
  • PayPal processes PayPal payments (PayPal Privacy Statement).
  • Cloudflare hosts the site and provides Web Analytics (Cloudflare Privacy Policy).
  • Our email provider stores the messages you send us.
  • Professional advisers such as an accountant or lawyer, when needed.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
  • A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or reorganized. This policy would continue to apply.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Audit requests that don't turn into an order, and general emails, are deleted when no longer needed. Specific periods: audit requests that don't turn into an order, and general emails, are deleted after twelve months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we have about you and how we use it
  • get a copy of it
  • have it corrected
  • have it deleted
  • opt out of its sale or sharing (we don't sell or share it)
  • not be treated differently for using these rights

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". To protect you, we'll confirm the request comes from the email address we have on file before acting on it. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. We respond within the time the law requires (for California requests, generally 45 days). If we can't fully meet a request, for example because we must keep tax records, we'll explain why.

Cookies

We don't set our own advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to measure visits without using cookies. On the pricing page, Stripe and PayPal load their own checkout code, which may use cookies or similar technology for security, fraud prevention and checkout features such as saved payment details. Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary security cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but checkout may not work without them.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Card and PayPal details go straight to the payment processors and never reach our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see your information and use reputable providers.

Children

Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us information, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll also post a notice on the site.
